The exhibition presented 155 works collected in the framework of the painting competition proposed by the Museum (30.10.06) for High School, General Lyceum and Technical School students of Thessaloniki Prefecture, on the permanent exhibition 'Macedonia-Thrace: Traditional Costumes, 1860-1960' and on the temporary one 'Decorated Copper Trays'.

The day of the exhibition’s opening ceremony, awards and participation certificates were offered to students who participated. Moreover, traditional dances and songs interpreted by the associations 'Stefanos Karatheodori' of Nea Vyssa, 'Megas Alexandros' of Leukopigi and 'Anatoliki Romilia' of Eginio.

Contemporaneously with the exhibition, a calendar of the year 2008, containing some students’ works, has been released.
