The works have been created in the framework of the painting competition proposed by the Museum (30.10.06) on the exhibitions "Macedonia-Thrace: Traditional Costumes, 1860-1960" and "Decorated Copper Trays". The day that the exhibition's opening ceremony took place, participation certificates and awards had been offered to students. Moreover, traditional dances and songs had been interpreted by the associations "Stefanos Karatheodoris", "Megas Alexandros" of Leukopigi in Kozani and "Anatoliki Romilia" of Eginio in Pieria..
Contemporaneously with the exhibition, a calendar of the year 2008, containing some students' works, has been released and is available at the Museumshop.
