The guide of this exhibition is an album including historical photographs of Thessaloniki, before and after the 1917's fire, taken by the Suisse photograph Boissonnas. The photographs were printed from the original negatives, which can be found at the Boissonas Documents in Geneva. The text of Yannis Konstantinidis gives us information about the life and work of the well known photographer and partner of Daniel Baud-Bovy, whose text entitled 'Thessaloniki, the City of Beautiful Churches' and written in 1913, completes the precious album and transfers us to a part of Thessaloniki (dawn of 20th century), that can be rediscovered only through paper...
